Delete your account

In the app (iPhone and Android)

1. Open bookmark++ and go to the You tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm with Delete. You are signed out straight away.

On the web

1. Sign in at app.bookmarkpp.com and open Settings.
2. Under Your data, type DELETE in the box next to Delete account.
3. Press Delete. You are signed out straight away.

By email, without the app

Write to privacy@bookmarkpp.com from the email address you sign in with, and say you want the account deleted. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, tell us so and we will help you confirm it is your account. We reply and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

• At once: your sign-ins, your email and name, API keys and connected accounts (such as X). Sign in with Apple access is revoked with Apple.
• Within minutes after: every save with its summary, text, cover image and search data, photos and screenshots you added, your questions and answers, your collections and usage counters.
• Within 30 days: the copies in our encrypted backups, as they age out.
• Kept: payment and subscription records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They hold the subscription event, its type and date, not your library. See Retention & deletion.

Want a copy first?

Use Export my data on the You tab in the app, or in Settings on the web. It gives you one JSON file with your account, saves, collections and questions, and links to photos you added.
